Application for a Bachelor’s degree programme with restricted intake – Hochschulstart

To make the application process as straightforward as possible for you, we have put together some tips and advice. You can apply for your chosen degree programme at Reutlingen University by following the steps below.

 

Step 1: Register with Hochschulstart & the Reutlingen University application portal

  1. Register at Hochschulstart.
  2. Next, register at the reutlingen university Application portal . Therefore, you will need your BID and BAN from Hochschulstart.
  3. Log in to the application portal in the top right-hand corner using your username and password.
  4. You can now start your application for your chosen degree programme. Please note that you can submit up to three applications to us.
  5. Complete the online application form in full and upload all the required documents.
  6. Submit your application online.


Once the application deadline has passed, the admissions process will begin. Have you received an offer of a place? If so, please follow the next step.

 

Step 2: Accepting an offer of approval

  1. Please accept your offer of approval at Hochschulstart an.
  2. Please note that if you are applying to several courses via Hochschulstart, you should set your priorities and place your preferred degree programme at Reutlingen University in first place.


Step 3: Online enrolment and printing the enrolment application

  1. Log in to the  Reutlingen University application portal. There you will find your letter of admission available for download.
  2. Please refer to this letter for payment details regarding the semester fee and the enrolment deadline.
  3. Please print out the letter of admission for your records.
  4. Click on ‘Apply for enrolment’ and follow the further instructions.
  5. Complete the enrolment process and print out the enrolment application form.

 

Step 4: Sending in the application and supporting documents

  1. Please sign the application for enrolment.
  2. Please enclose all the required documents.
  3. Post the signed application and the documents to:
    Hochschule Reutlingen
    Zulassung und Immatrikulation
    Alteburgstr. 150
    72762 Reutlingen

You may also hand them in in person at the Student Services Centre (Building 3, Room 3-004).

Application for a Bachelor’s degree programme with no entry requirements – direct enrolment

In just a few steps, you can apply for your chosen degree programme at Reutlingen University and complete your enrolment.

 

Step 1: Registration and online application

  1. Register on the reutlingen university application protal.
  2. Log in to the application portal in the top right-hand corner using your username and password.
  3. You can now start your application for your chosen degree programme. Please note that you may submit up to three applications to us.
  4. Complete the online application in full and upload all the required documents.
  5. Submit your application online.

  1. As soon as your application status has changed, log in again.
  2. Please note the information regarding payment of the semester fee and health insurance.
  3. Click on ‘Apply for enrolment’ and follow the further instructions.
  4. Complete the enrolment process and print out the application for registration.
