Student business projects
NXT offers a project-based master's program that is unique in Europe: the M.Sc. in Operations Management. Here, our students have the opportunity to carry out a business project for the duration of one semester—in highly motivated interdisciplinary teams and under the close supervision of our professors—in the style of a student consulting firm. From the companies' perspective, this offers a unique opportunity to create concrete added value in cooperation with the academic world on the one hand, and to get to know potential future employees in close exchange with the students on the other.
INNOPORT
INNOPORT Reutlingen is an incubator for new business models, innovative products, and services, providing companies and startups in and around Reutlingen with an infrastructure for innovation—consulting, workshops, and networking. The NXT faculty works closely with INNOPORT on an ongoing basis, whether in the form of developing sustainable product ideas as part of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering: Sustainable Production and Business (SPB) program or in the form of other collaborative projects.
