Artificial Intelligence for Digital Twins

AI4DT German-Dutch Fieldlab

“Artificial Intelligence for Digital Twins” (AI4DT) is the joint research network that connects the Dutch region of Noord-Brabant and Baden-Württemberg. The initiative focuses on the cross-border networking of companies and research institutions, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in market development and the transfer of solutions and knowledge in the fields of smart industries, digital twins, artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 into application.

The aim is to identify digitalization potential in companies, share knowledge, initiate corporate partnerships and implement new solutions in implementation projects. This will be achieved through joint B2B networking events, professional training, discussions, seminars and on-site visits from 2021. B2B matchmaking will take place virtually on the AI4DT platform at joint events or in one-to-one meetings. However, such meetings are also possible on site in the field labs of Werk150, the factory on the ESB Business School campus and on the Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven.

The project pursues the following goals:

  • To connect companies in the areas of Digital Twin and AI and support B2B matchmaking,

  • To demonstrate potential benefits using demonstrators in regional field labs,

  • To provide companies, especially SMEs, with low-threshold access to solutions, experts, and knowledge,

  • To promote the dissemination of scientific findings and make them accessible,

  • To initiate the use of economic potential in SMEs by launching projects and implementing them through existing funding formats for applied research and knowledge transfer, and

  • To stimulate the development of collaborations (companies, research institutions, transfer centers) in the B2B sector.

Participation is free of charge.
